Booked a room with a good view and the location is fantastic, with Egyptian restaurants, taxis, the beach, shopping.

The location is great and decent, 2 miles from a public library. There is a great restaurant just a pleasant stroll away from hotel. Neat and updated rooms come with shower as well as good storage space to boot. The breakfast is excellent for all tastes, has delicious food...

Pleasant staff from the room cleaners to management. New-fashioned and spotless room. Vibrant area with a central location next door to restaurants, shops, bars, and beautiful beaches like Bangla Road.

Decent location, just a 10-minute walk into town. the restaurant here is spacious and the dinner I had was delicious. 🍽️.

The location of Patong Merlin was ideal, with easy access to markets and just across from the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the daily breakfast had a great variety of international and Thai food. The staff was attentive and allowed us to use the pool and shower facilities even after check-out. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I had a great stay at the Merlin Hotel - Sha Plus in Patong. The hotel is beautifully surrounded by lush gardens and has multiple pools to enjoy. The hotel is in a great location, being very close to the beach. There are plenty of activities to do in the area, such as shopping and eating. The rooms are comfortable and clean with friendly and helpful staff. The pools are clean and there are comfortable sunbeds available. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of food options.

The beach in front of the hotel was unfortunately dirty, which was a downside to an otherwise great location.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, being close to the beach and walking distance to the town center. It was far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet, yet still conveniently located. The three swimming pools were fantastic, especially for families with small children. The shallow end was a great feature for little ones to safely enjoy the water. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, always going out of their way to assist us. We particularly appreciated their effort to clean the food area and constantly replenish the buffet during breakfast.
